Meet Lyra

Lyra is a standalone, general-purpose AI agent. Point it at your own models and it reads code, edits files and runs commands on your computer — and you can pick the conversation up on your phone.

What it is

Its own agent. The loop, tools, skills and MCP support are written from scratch. It is not a wrapper around Claude Code or Codex.
Your models. Add as many providers as you like, each with as many models as you like.
Desktop and phone. Desktop apps for macOS, Windows and Linux. The Android and iOS apps connect to Lyra on your computer, so both show the same sessions.
Open source. MIT licensed, on GitHub.
